Product Description

ESD carbon fiber knitted gloves are made from a blend of nylon fibers and conductive carbon fiber yarn. They are available in 3%, 4%, and 5% carbon fiber content options to meet different ESD protection requirements. The 13-gauge or 15-gauge knit balances softness with abrasion resistance. These gloves provide stable ESD protection and help improve efficiency in electronic assembly operations. Key features of this product include:

  • Available in 3%, 4%, and 5% carbon fiber content options
  • Nylon liner provides good protection, abrasion resistance, and tear resistance
  • Seamless knit construction provides excellent flexibility
  • Cuffs feature a continuous knit construction
  • Optional PVC dot coating is available to enhance grip
  • Washable and reusable

Application

  • Electronics assembly
  • PCB inspection
  • Semiconductor packaging
  • Precision parts handling
  • EPA workstations

We offer three carbon fiber content options to meet different anti-static requirements. 3% carbon fiber knitted gloves are suitable for general anti-static applications.

3% Carbon Fiber ESD Knitted Gloves

Suitable for daily electronic assembly and packaging tasks. Approximately 3% conductive carbon fiber yarn provides basic static dissipation while retaining the lightweight, soft, and breathable feel of nylon knitted gloves, making them suitable for extended wear.

4% Carbon Fiber Anti-Static Knitted Gloves

This is a common ESD glove configuration, typically used for PCB inspection, electronic component handling, and precision part sorting. The approximately 4% carbon fiber content helps improve static control stability while maintaining comfort and dexterity.

5% Carbon Fiber ESD Gloves for Electronics

When the work environment requires a higher level of static control, gloves with approximately 5% carbon fiber content are recommended. This option is better suited for static-sensitive processes such as semiconductor packaging and IC inspection, though it may feel slightly stiffer than lower-content versions.

Work gloves should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool environment, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. The ideal storage temperature is typically between **10°C–25°C**. Excessively high temperatures can cause the rubber, nitrile, or coating to age, become sticky, or crack, thereby reducing protective performance.

When measuring glove sizes, first use a soft tape measure to measure palm circumference at the widest point (excluding the thumb), then measure hand length from the base of the middle finger to the fingertip. Refer to the size chart based on these two measurements to select sizes such as S, M, L, or XL. If the palm circumference and finger length correspond to different sizes, generally prioritize the palm circumference and choose a tighter or roomier fit based on personal preference.

FAQ

What is carbon fiber conductive yarn?

Carbon fiber conductive yarn is a functional yarn made by combining conductive carbon fiber or conductive materials with base yarns such as nylon or polyester. It helps create a static dissipative path within the glove structure, reducing static buildup caused by friction between the body, gloves, and workpieces. It is commonly used in ESD knitted gloves.

These ESD carbon fiber knitted gloves are mainly designed for anti-static protection, low-lint operation, and lightweight handling. They are not specialized heat-resistant gloves. Nylon or polyester materials are not suitable for long-term contact with high-temperature objects. For heat applications, aramid, insulated, or dedicated heat-resistant gloves are recommended.

The service life depends on usage frequency, working environment, friction level, and washing method. In general electronics assembly, inspection, and packaging applications, they can be reused multiple times. Gloves should be replaced when yarns become loose, holes appear, elasticity decreases, contamination is heavy, or ESD performance becomes unstable.

Yes. In addition to uncoated ESD carbon fiber knitted gloves, we can provide PU fingertip coating, PU palm coating, or other coating options. PU fingertip coating improves grip and slip resistance while keeping the back of the hand and palm area lightweight and breathable, making it suitable for precision assembly work.
