Product Description

Kevlar cut-resistant gloves are made from Kevlar aramid engineering fibers, offering high strength, cut resistance, abrasion resistance, and heat resistance. Compared with standard cotton, nylon, or polyester liners, they are better suited for high-risk industrial protection scenarios. M-tide uses 100% Kevlar to ensure protection covers the back of the hand, palm, and fingers, providing 360° cut protection. They provide medium to high-level protection against sharp edges, glass fragments, and cutting tools. While maintaining reliable cut and abrasion resistance, we continuously optimize comfort.

The gloves feature a nitrile coating with a textured grip surface, applied to the palm and fingers as standard. We offer palm coating, fingertip coating, and full-dip options to meet different needs for liquid resistance, grip, and breathability. The gloves meet the ANSI A5 cut resistance rating. They are comfortable to wear, fit well, and offer a comfortable fit with less restriction.

Work gloves should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool environment, away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. The ideal storage temperature is typically between **10°C–25°C**. Excessively high temperatures can cause the rubber, nitrile, or coating to age, become sticky, or crack, thereby reducing protective performance.

When measuring glove sizes, first use a soft tape measure to measure palm circumference at the widest point (excluding the thumb), then measure hand length from the base of the middle finger to the fingertip. Refer to the size chart based on these two measurements to select sizes such as S, M, L, or XL. If the palm circumference and finger length correspond to different sizes, generally prioritize the palm circumference and choose a tighter or roomier fit based on personal preference.

FAQ

What is the performance level of A5 Kevlar gloves?

A5 Kevlar gloves comply with ANSI/ISEA 105 cut resistance standards, with a TDM cut score range of ≥2200g and <3000g. They are suitable for medium-to-high cut-risk tasks such as glass edge handling, metal burr contact, and sheet metal handling. The standard version focuses on cut resistance, abrasion resistance, heat resistance, and flexibility. If your work also involves puncture hazards, we recommend upgrading to the Kevlar + steel composite yarn option.

Yes, especially with a textured nitrile coating. Textured nitrile significantly improves friction in dry and light-oil conditions, reducing slip and improving handling stability. You can choose palm coating, fingertip coating, or full coating based on application needs. For more demanding wet or oily environments, we recommend foam nitrile or sandy-finish nitrile with stronger surface texture.

This depends on the construction. The standard A5 Kevlar version is primarily designed for cut resistance and abrasion protection, and should not be treated as a high-level puncture glove. If your work includes clear puncture risks (such as sharp metal wires, rigid burrs, or steel fragments), we recommend the Kevlar/steel composite option in your product range, which provides stronger puncture resistance and is better suited for applications requiring both cut and puncture protection. Material and coating can also be customized based on your needs.

Yes. These gloves are machine washable and reusable. Use a mild detergent and wash at 30°C or below on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleach and strong alkaline cleaners. Air dry naturally after washing, and avoid tumble drying or direct high heat to reduce fiber aging and extend service life. Check coating wear and glove damage before and after washing, and replace the gloves when wear reaches the safety limit.
