Product Specifications

M-Tide specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of latex-coated gloves, offering coatings made from both natural and synthetic latex. Our primary coating styles include palm-dipped and full-dipped configurations. Our coating processes encompass a variety of finishes: foamed, sandy, smooth, crinkled, diamond-patterned, and double-dipped. The glove liners are constructed using seamless cotton-polyester blends, knitted acrylics, and polyester yarns. These materials are carefully selected to meet rigorous performance standards regarding puncture resistance, flexibility, and comfort.

Latex-coated gloves offer exceptional grip performance and are available in palm-dipped, full-dipped, and fingertip-dipped variations. M-Tide offers a thin-coating process—ranging from 0.3 to 0.5 mm in thickness—that ensures maximum flexibility and enhanced tactile control. For applications requiring robust industrial protection, we offer heavy coatings (over 0.8 mm) that deliver superior abrasion resistance, puncture resistance, and high-level protection. Latex coatings are also the preferred choice for heavy-duty safety gloves and waterproof-coated gloves.

We offer knitting gauges of 10, 13, 15, and 21 needles. Customization options include latex-bound cuffs and a selection of latex colors, such as black, blue, green, and red. Characteristics and Process of Latex Coating

Characteristics of Latex-Coated Gloves:

Latex-coated gloves are highly popular in the workplace, offering a wide range of protective features for daily tasks.

  • Cut Resistance: Incorporating materials such as HPPE yarn and Kevlar, these gloves deliver superior cut-resistant performance.
  • Water and Stain Resistance: The latex coating acts as a barrier, preventing the penetration of oil, water, and dust; opting for a fully dipped latex coating ensures 100% impermeability.
  • Excellent Grip: Natural latex provides high friction; combined with sandy or crinkle finishes, it offers exceptional gripping power. This enables you to securely handle smooth, dry, or oily workpieces, thereby enhancing operational precision and preventing slippage.
  • Superior Durability: These products maintain their high performance whether subjected to light or heavy-duty use. Their robust abrasion resistance means you do not need to replace them frequently—a benefit that not only protects your hands but also helps reduce operational costs.
  • High Tactile Sensitivity: A thin latex coating provides excellent tactile feedback. This aids in identifying small parts and identifying screw shapes, thereby improving operational control and boosting confidence in your work.

Types of Latex Coating Processes:

Three common latex coating techniques are: sandy coating, crinkle coating, and foam coating.

Sandy Coated Gloves

Sandy Latex Coated Gloves:

Air is blown into the latex paste, and industrial salt is sprinkled to create the Sandy effect. The surface has a rich texture made of fine particles. This gives it a strong grip. It's great for precision tasks. It's perfect for metalworking, electronics assembly, and similar uses. - Read more

Wrinkle Latex Coated Gloves

Wrinkle Latex Coated Gloves:

Wrinkle latex coating comes from chemical treatments, such as acid baths. These treatments create uneven, wrinkled patterns on the surface. They improve grip on dry and wet surfaces. They are perfect for gripping slippery items in fields like fishing, construction, and cold chain logistics.

micro foam latex coated

Foam Latex Coated Gloves:

Chemical foaming agents create a porous (sponge-like) structure with a fine foam texture on the surface. Provides great comfort and breathability. It fits snugly, making it perfect for gardening, precision tasks, automotive repair, and more. You may be looking for this product: Foam Latex Grip Work Gloves

Primary Uses of Cut-Resistant Gloves

Machining and Assembly

Latex-coated gloves are suitable for machining and equipment assembly. They provide isolation from oil contamination and slippage, while resisting cuts and punctures from sharp metal edges and debris.

Logistics Handling and Goods Sorting

Opt for heavy-duty latex-coated gloves for logistics handling and sorting tasks. They reduce wear from frequent gripping and friction while preventing slippage.

Electronics Manufacturing and Precision Operations

Lightweight latex-coated gloves offer excellent flexibility for fine operations in these scenarios. However, ESD-rated latex gloves must be selected.

Gardening & Horticulture Tasks

Latex-coated gloves are ideal for garden maintenance and horticultural work. They act as a barrier against dirt, plant sap, water, and fertilizers, while protecting hands from scratches and punctures caused by thorns, branches, and gravel. Additionally, their non-slip surface ensures a secure grip on a wide variety of gardening tools.

Latex-coated gloves have a wide range of applications.

Frequentiy Asked Questions

Latex-coated gloves have great elasticity and flexibility. They are waterproof, keep a good grip in wet conditions, and are also affordable. Ideal for food processing and cleaning services.

Nitrile-coated gloves are strong and resist chemicals well. They provide a good grip in oily settings and are hypoallergenic. This makes them ideal for medical and pharmaceutical use.

Latex gloves are very elastic and flexible. They perform well in extreme temperatures, from -18°C to 149°C. Also, they have great physical properties, like cut, abrasion, and tear resistance. They are highly suitable for both wet and dry environments, ensuring comfort and grip retention.

Latex-coated gloves are popular due to their great features and benefits. They are used in many industries. This makes them great for everyday and professional tasks. Most importantly, they reduce injury risks and enhance work efficiency.

First, check your work environment. Latex gloves don’t work well in oily conditions.

Determine glove size: Select gloves based on your palm measurements.

Verify safety standards: Ensure gloves meet industry safety requirements.

Absolutely. Latex-coated gloves are highly popular due to their elasticity and comfort. They are also more affordable, but individuals with natural rubber allergies should avoid them.

Yes, hands must be washed both before and after use. This keeps hands clean and gloves hygienic. It prevents sweat and other residues from building up inside the gloves or on your hands. This is important for both glove integrity and personal health.

Turn the gloves inside out and gently rinse the inner surface with mild soapy water. Avoid prolonged soaking. Alternatively, spray with low-concentration alcohol to neutralize odors. Then lay the gloves flat to air dry in a well-ventilated area. This process effectively removes odors for convenient reuse.

This is because the soft cotton lining offers superior comfort and wearability. It prevents sweat irritation. It also offers moisture-wicking breathability. Plus, it makes putting on and taking off easy.

Natural latex and synthetic latex exhibit distinct differences:

Natural Latex:

  • Derived from the sap of rubber trees; naturally biodegradable.
  • Possesses excellent elasticity and grip performance, and offers superior abrasion resistance.
  • Contains natural latex proteins, and may trigger latex allergies.

Synthetic Latex:

  • Manufactured from chemical raw materials.
  • Offers cost-effectiveness; elasticity and grip strength are generally weaker than those of natural latex.
  • Suitable for individuals with latex sensitivities or allergies.

According to common industry testing standards, the static coefficient of friction is 0.8–1.3 in dry conditions, 0.6–0.9 in wet conditions, and 0.4–0.7 in oily conditions. These figures can be further improved through the use of anti-slip textures and specialized formulations. Overall, latex demonstrates a clear advantage in terms of grip in both dry and wet environments; while its performance in oily environments is slightly less robust, it remains fully adequate for use in standard industrial operations.
